These Are The Wellness Trends That You’ll See Even In 2022

2022 is right around the corner, and if you’re like most people, we bet you can’t help but think about your New Year's resolution. Even if you know that you won’t be following them for even half of the year, there’s no harm in making plans.

At the very least, they are always a great source of motivation. However, recently, some trends based on wellness have been taking over the internet, such as activities to boost your physical and mental health.

The pandemic has placed particular emphasis on mental health and physical well-being. People all around the world are now taking part in healthy activities.

For 2022, here are some of the wellness trends that will be a big part of the upcoming year.

1. Going Walking

As simple as it sounds, this everyday activity will be a growing trend in the next year. If you’re wondering why then hear this: many people started walking, going on solo hikes, and basically utilizing their time in lockdown. It became a wonderful way for people to get those steps in and was also beneficial for mental health, which is one of the reasons the TikTok trend ‘hot girl walk’ went viral.

2. Unlocking the Potential of Psychedelics

Like physical health, mental health is receiving a lot of attention recently, and this has led to psychedelic wellness becoming a viral trend. Now, the US is seeing a boost in the usage of hallucinogens such as ketamine and LSD since they are being seen as potential treatments for issues like anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, two mental health problems that have increased most during the pandemic. Many POC groups are providing education regarding psychedelics safely and inclusively. As the notion around psychedelics changes, you’ll be seeing them a lot in 2022.

3. Going Green

The demands for action against climate change have never been louder, and now people are pulling their weight, too. From eco-friendly alternatives to plant-based foods, there has been a major increase in the change of lifestyles as more and more people turn to using eco-friendly items like menstrual cups and opt for plant-based food.
