Make Your Own Geometric Wedge Pillow
Here's how you do it:
Step 1: Cut Your Fabric
Place your fabric on a self-healing cutting mat and use your rotary cutter or fabric scissors to cut out a 21x31 inch piece. Don't forget the mat as it will help guide you to cut straight lines and also protect the surface you're using. For this project, all seam allowances are 0.5 inches. With the right sides together, fold the cut fabric in half and pin it together.
Step 2: Get Sewing!
Start stitching the seam together neatly. Since you'll have to turn the fabric later on remember to leave an opening in the middle of the seam. Then, pin down and stitch together one of the shorter sides of your fabric.

Step 3: Mark Your Center
Grab a fabric pen and mark the folded edge perpendicular to your last open side. Although this line will be on the inside when you're finished, be sure to use a pen that doesn't bleed through your fabric. Hold the marked line and open the pillow, bringing it towards your first stitched seam. As you tug tightly on it, you'll see the wedge shape formed. Pin it and sew the opening close.
Step 4: Iron Down Your Seams
Once you've turned your pillow right side out, it's time to iron down the seams for a crisp finish. This last step will also ensure that your pillow maintains its shape once you're done stuffing it. As you're stuffing it though, be sure to keep stopping and patting it out to make sure it doesn't get overstuffed.
And there you have it! Your own cozy and cute geometric wedge pillow! Be sure to place it somewhere it can get seen regularly to impress friends and family with this newly acquired skill!
